For Alexandre Zouari, aesthetics are based on his sensory perceptions, his poetic inspirations, the essence and perception of beauty, his memories, his childhood in Tunis, his life in Paris, his experience, his world tours, his prestigious knowledge, his emotions and judgments related to his visions and art in all its forms, music, dance, painting, gastronomy, fashion, architecture and in all its aspects, creation or work of art. Alexandre Zouari embodies the concepts of art of living and well-being and thus reveals, in each of his creations, the original source of all sensitive beauty. Alexandre Zouari transcends life, the useful, the futile and creates as if by magic, his vision of beauty, intelligent and functional, aesthetic and cosmetic, humble and respectful. This darling of women, crowned heads and the biggest international stars, is generous, demanding, rigorous. This aesthete endlessly casts his gaze on beauty, simple or grandiose, each time sketching his little laughing air, and without ever taking himself seriously we sense that he already knows how to make your dream come true and take you far beyond it, without any other baggage than the love of his profession.

They say you never recover from your childhood. My memory attests to this: I would have liked to recapture a little of that childhood... "Alexandre! What are you doing? Aren't you ready yet? The boat won't wait for us, you know..." Tunis, October 1958. I flee happiness not for fear that it will run away, but because my parents have decided so. I am eight years old, and my duty then is to obey adults, even if I don't understand the reasons for such a hasty departure. From those first eight years, I still remember scents, colors, smells, enchanted landscapes and gardens, starry nights, the sun, and the sea, always, with a feeling of total freedom.

In September 2004:
Alexandre Zouari became Advisor for L’Oréal. He tests and launches each brand and product in his salon exclusively. He was notably a consultant for Shu Uemura for 3 consecutive years and carried out in his salon the launch of the first Shu Uemura treatment cabin, a commercial partnership worth €900K, then that of the Kéraskin cabin in November 2007 , a partnership worth €450K and finally the Kérastase cabin which brought a very luxurious image to the brand and propelled it to the rank of luxury brands.

ALEXANDRE ZOUARI creates BEAUTY INSTITUTE with shiseido
A sacred haute couture hairdressing event, the Alexandre ZOUARI salon continues to develop its reputation: New artistic cutting techniques, hairstyles for famous weddings... Moschino, Hermès, Gianni Versace fashion shows... three Venuses of fashion for the Thierry Mugler collections. His partnership with the SHISEIDO Group allows him to design a new type of salon at 1, Avenue du Président Wilson. He takes on the illustrious Jacques Grange as decorator and opens its doors in March 1987. With the support of the SHISEIDO Group, Alexandre ZOUARI establishes 6 large salons in Japan.

Sacré rendez-vous haute couture de la coiffure, le salon Alexandre ZOUARI continue de développer sa renommée : Nouvelles techniques artistiques de coupes, coiffures de mariages célèbres…défilés Moschino, Hermès, Gianni Versace…trois Vénus de la mode pour les collections de Thierry Mugler. Son partenariat avec le Groupe SHISEIDO lui permet de concevoir un nouveau type de salon au 1, Avenue du Président Wilson. Il prend pour décorateur l’illustre Jacques Grange et ouvre ses portes en mars 1987. Avec le support du Groupe SHISEIDO, Alexandre ZOUARI implante au Japon 6 grands salons.

In 1976, Line Renaud entrusted her head, as she says, to the designer and hairdresser Alexandre Zouari, and she also asked him to rethink her general style. Line and Alexandre have known each other well since their first meeting in Saint-Tropez in the late 1960s. Very faithful to Alexandre Zouari and the new face he created for her, Line Renaud has not undergone an extravagant physical evolution over the years, with only a few variations, she still stands out today with her short, voluminous, white hair.

The greatest photographers, Guy BOURDIN, Helmutt NEWTON or Cecil BEATON suits it on their sets. Jean-Louis Scherrer, Valentino, Chanel, Hermès, Hanae Mori and all the big names in fashion invite him on their podiums.
